Christmas Fair
As is the practice each year Coventry IPMS in conjunction with The Midland Air Museum held its annual Christmas event at the Air Museum on the 5th of December.
Traders and a small gathering of clubs attended on a rather cold day. Those attending were Birmingham.What-If.The Vietnam SIG and others in the form of clubs. And Parabellum and my good friend Chris Summers of Kits-Kits being amongst the traders but to name a few.The clubs in the main were housed in the new education centre which was as warm as toast. But sadly that was not the case for the traders who were in the main hanger, freezing their Kahooners off.But in my experience hangers are never the warmest places.Try one at 02.30 whilst on guard, now that is cold.
My own day started rather late due to family commitments and i forgot the camera. But luckily i have managed to get some images via Roland Turner of Birmingham IPMS.Thankyou Roland.
I myself managed to bag a nice P-36 and a F117 from Terry Dore, which i will start over Christmas.I may make a better effort if i am sloshed.
Ok ,here is a link to the images taken of the day. These include some images of some of the museums 1/1 scale. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=48372&id=150312098330168
