Cosford Model Show 10 April 2011

                                                         Cosford Model Show Mini Report.

First things first as they say. This report will only be a mini report sadly. This is due to me recently catching E Coli, from where i do not know. But not to be wished on anyone.Ok thats the sympathy request dealt with lol.

What can one say about the Cosford show that has not beeen repeated many times over. One of the highlights of the year in  many peoples opinion. Not only does Cosford house some of the best examples of aircraft in the world. But it is located and serviced by motorways within the Midlands.

For myself this year i arrived at around 08.30 having been given a club pass via 580 Modellers with which i display as well. The show is set up over the main hangers and also the new super hanger. This year we were located in the experimental hanger by the Fairy Delta.I do have to say the table space really was not enough but i have had this explained to me and the reasons do make sense.Suffice to say it comes down to money.

The show itself in regards to traders was very good, most being located in Hanger 1 with names such as Chris Summers of Kits-Kits,with whom i purchased the holy grail of aircraft kits namely the Tamiya 1/32 Eagle for the princely sum of £65.What a bargain.

Attached are some images for you to see.Not many this time sadly as i was not feeling pucker as Jamie Oliver would say.

In conclusion a great show down to Gary and his hard working team.Thankyou Gary.
